An Important Note on COVID-19:
YouthWrite Society Canada remains committed to the safety and health of our youth participants and employees. As such, we are adhering to the guidelines and recommendations of Alberta Health Services and the Public Health Agency of Canada. We recognize this is an evolving situation and will make updates on our website as information from Alberta Health Services becomes available.
At this point in time, we are offering a number of choices for summer camp experiences. Applicants may choose to work:
a) online via Zoom (for all ages), OR
b) in-person, in small, physically distanced day camp classes at Edmonton's Bennett Centre (for ages 8-11, 12-14, 15-20), OR
c) in-person, in small, physically distanced day camp classes at Kamp Kiwanis (for ages 8-11, 12-14, 15-20).
At this time, as per health regulations, there is no overnight option at either the Bennett Centre or Kamp Kiwanis. We are looking into bussing options around the city of Edmonton to/from the Bennett Centre and around the city of Calgary to/from Kamp Kiwanis. More details are forthcoming
Please note that if further restrictions are recommended, YouthWrite's summer camps will ALL move online or to some form of hybrid delivery. We thank you for your patience during this turbulent time.
